Porter's Blessing

Our sweet little boy was blessed on Sunday. Tom, surrounded by many family members, gave a wonderful blessing telling Porter he would be a great missionary and would bless the lives of many people.  It's amazing how you all of a sudden feel like a grown up when you do something like that.  We are parents now.  What a scary responsibility it is to raise children and know that they are entrusted into your care.

Jess--I am so sorry we missed the blessing by just a few moments. We had this perfect plan that would have gotten us there in plenty of time and of course--it all went to pot :( We really love you guys and this new little boy of yours. He is totally grinning in that chair propped up all by himself!

Jess, sounds like it was beautiful. I'm sorry we couldn't be there. Porter is a little cutie. I can't believe how fast he is growing (according to your description) because he still seems so tiny.

Wow Tom, nice suit. Congrats on the baby old friends; looks like he has inherited that wry Lebaron smile.

Hi Jessica! I just found your blog through my sister-in-law's blog, who has Mary's blog on it. Anyway, congrats on your beautiful baby! Isn't it the best thing in the world? I had a baby last Christmas and it was the best Christmas ever. Congrats again!
