The six month mark has come and gone. It's incredible how time flies. But even more, it is incredible how big our little boy has grown in these past six months. I don't even remember Porter even being remotely small. As seen in the picture, one of Porter's greatest accomplishments so far is growing those two lovely bottom teeth. On my top list of great things babies learn, Porter has mastered sitting up and can even entertain himself.

As of late, Porter has developed a TEMPER. Now I see he is his mother's son. Just a warning to all those who have fallen under his cute baby spell, do not take away his toys! Tub time is the worst. When it is time to get out, we put his toys away and he is outraged. He yells and cries until he gets his way. Who knew a six month old could have such ANGER?
There is one thing Porter seems to not be interested in, rolling over. He has done it once, which I guess is good enough for him because he refuses to do it. We put him on his back and he is content just playing there. We roll him over and he stays put. On the upside, it is pretty easy to keep track of the little guy cause he isn't going anywhere.

What accomplishments!! Teeth are a lot of work to grow! And entertaining himself? Some ADULTS can't even manage that one! I'd say your little (but not quite so little) guy is leaping right ahead of the competition. In my opinion rolling over is over rated. Thats for beginners. If he's already jumped to having a temper, who needs rolling over!? :)
I know exactly what you mean, Brayden has a mind of his own as well and will make you pay if you take anything away from him! Porter's teeth are so, so cute!
Porter is growing so much. I still can't believe you have a 6 month old little boy and I'm pregnant. It seems like just the other day that we were at your house for sleepovers and scary stories. Wow, time sure does fly by so fast! By the way porter is absolutely adorable, I can't wait to meet him some day soon!!
I bet one of these days he will just start rolling over like it was never a big deal--and he'll be some kind of pro at it too :) He sure is darling and I love those little teeth poking out!
it's probably good that he hasn't learned to roll yet. Nothing makes you feel like a worse parent than when you leave your baby unattended for .5 milliseconds and that's when they decide to roll off the bed. You've saved yourself a hefty serving of guilt by not having a child that rolls over. pat yourself on the back for now, my dear!
He seriously is the cutest kid ever. I can say that the tantrums just get worse, but it's all worth it. :)
The teething process, seems to be never ending in my opinion! Do you notice a difference in his temperament when he's getting one?
Seeing Porters pictures makes me smile. He's so cute, Jess!
