Last week Porter met my mom's friend's daughter Haven. She must have misunderstood me when I told her his name because when we left, she said, "Bye Quarter." Thus, his new nickname is Quarter.
Here are a few of the pictures we had taken of Porter. Now tell me I don't have the cutest little boy ever. At the portrait studio, I think the photographer failed to realize that Porter is only 3 months old. She kept trying to make him sit up on his own, but he can't! Although he just about tried to crawl away. People who think he is 6 months plus must think he is developmentally challenged if he can't even sit up. I also have yet to realize why people must continue to inform me that my child is big. Ok, yes and so what is your point? Don't you think that I have realized that myself? Today I went to Bajios with my mom. As I was finishing, one of the workers walked up to the table and said, "Wow, I can't believe you finished the entire thing. You must have been really hungry!" Although this was the case, can someone please tell me the point of expressing this fact to me? It certainly isn't a compliment, and if it isn't meant as a cut, please inform me of the purpose.

I feel so lucky to have such an adorable grandson! I don't think he is quarter LeBaron, he has to be 75% Tom in looks and 100% Jess in darling! Way to go, and I'm proud you ate the whole thing! Love you, Nanny

That is so funny that she called him Quarter! There aren't too many things that rhyme with Porter though so I guess Quarter it is! That little outfit is too much! Little hats like that on baby boys drive me CRAZY!! SOOOO CUTE!
I hope that you hear how amazingly cute "Quarter" is more than you hear that he is a big baby... like you said, as if you didn't already know. Aren't you the one who holds and loves him everyday? These photos are so cute. Thanks for sharing :)

After I looked through your blog I saw the picture of Porter when he had RSV. I heard about that. Wow! That must have been so hard for you. You are such a strong woman. I am so glad he is okay. You never cease to amaze me Jess.

sorry jess it has taken me so long to respond. Yes i am pregnant and I think your dad heard from my grandma. He was over at her house fixing a shelf or something. We were living in Arizona, but now we are living in Virginia. I know it is all so crazy, but we will be back home to good old SLC in september!!
